Associate/Director - Rail - Sydney

This large professional consultancy is one of the biggest of its kind - providing multi discipline services to the construction and property related industries. The international organisation has five distinct regions with approximately 3,000 staff across 30 plus countries. Their services include Cost Management, Project Management, Building Surveying and Facilities Management.

They have successfully provided support in various sectors including Infrastructure, Commercial, Defence, Health and have recently been awarded a large NSW Rail Tender.

On the back of this they are now looking to recruit an experienced and qualified Rail Professional in an Associate or Associate Director level position. Working closely with the Transport Leader and Director for Growth you will lead the way on this exciting new project.

Within the this role you will be responsible for:

  • Delivering and implementing strategic options for procurement and delivery of major works
  • Providing Project Management and Commercial advice to projects
  • Being a key figure in securing future rail projects
  • Working closely with other business units in order to provide clients with the best possible service
  • Overseeing a number of different rail projects

To be eligible to apply for this role you must have:

  • Relevant Tertiary Qualifications coupled with a min of 10 years experience in the Rail Sector working for consultancies
  • Significant experience of working on major Rail Projects - High Speed Rail would be advantageous
  • Experience in both winning new business and delivering it successfully
  • Excellent Project Management Skills coupled with a strong commercial acumen
